The measurement equipment would normally need to be left in a secure location for the PPG 24 noise survey, however if there are no secure buildings on the site then we would probably need to arrange personnel to supervise the kit and to avoid theft or tampering. The main standard of assessing night club or pub noise is BS4142. The additional assessment of low frequency bass beat noise would also need to be carried out as this is a particular feature of modern clubs where as the normal standard of BS4142 does not cover this particular issue. Associated problems relating to traffic, car parking and customer noise will require consideration.
